Shortcut keys are defined keystrokes that perform actions within AVCataloger. For example, selecting CTRL + O (control key and letter O key at the same time) on your keyboard will perform the same action as File...Open, displaying the open dialog to select an existing data file. Shortcuts can be seen in menu items, if assigned, at the far right side of the menu. Toolbar buttons also have shortcut keys and can be viewed by hovering the mouse pointer over a button. A small tip window will appear explaining the purpose of the button and in parenthesis, if available, the shortcut key assignment.
