Rapid Entry

Rapid Entry is a system designed to enter your entire music collection (CD's) in minimum time. Start rapid entry by clicking the rapid entry icon on the CDDB toolbar. Before doing so, set any custom fields on the right top side of the CDDB window as this area will be inaccessible during the rapid entry process. Once rapid entry is started, it has to be stopped to change any custom information. When ready, click the rapid entry icon and instructions will appear advising AVCataloger commencing the process. Once the CD is scanned, the data will be automatically stored and the CD ejected. Remove the CD from the tray and place a new CD in and close the tray. Once AVCataloger can access the drive, the CD will be automatically scanned and saved, ejecting the CD when no longer needed ready for another CD to be inserted. This is a very quick process for entering a music collection, whether 5 or 500 CD's. If an indexing system is required, use the Auto-Index functionality to automatically assign an index to each entry as well, automating the cataloging process. When you are finished using the rapid entry system, click the "Stop Rapid Entry" icon on the CDDB main toolbar. CDDB will return to single entry mode.
