Other Settings

AVCataloger offers complete control over various formatting and user-customization settings.  From the View...Customize Current View menu option, a dialog will appear allowing you to click the "Other Settings..." button bringing up the dialog as shown below in Figure 1.

With this dialog, various formatting options can be modified including fonts for both the column header and data areas, color scheme of the layout, grid lines, etc.  Configure if a preview row is desired such as in Microsoft Outlook and which column of data you want to appear in this preview row.  At the bottom of each data entry area is a record navigator, you can completely customize this navigator to your preferences or hide it altogether.  Lastly, if you like having a column at the far left where you can easily click and select entire rows, for deleting as an example, turn on the Row Headers so they appear.  This dialog is straight forward and if you look at the grid in the background you will see the changes take affect as you actually change them in this dialog. Clicking Reset will restore the settings to the factory default settings.
