AVCataloger Quick Tour

This quick tour will provide you with a synopsis of what AVCataloger can do. The objective of this quick tour is to expose the major areas within AVCataloger and point you to the areas where powerful formatting and data analysis are available. Let's get started.

The first stop in this quick tour is the menu and navigation system. AVCataloger is very easy to navigate using the Microsoft Office® XP style menu and toolbar system. As shown in Figure 1 below, you can see the menu system is straight forward and organized under each major functional area.

The menus are "smart menus" meaning they change based on the area within AVCataloger. There are also popup menus which are accessed by right-clicking on any area in AVCataloger. Depending on where you click, the popup menu is tailored to accommodate the area where the mouse clicked. See Figure 2 below, showing two different popup menus from right-clicking in two areas, the track manager area and the image manager area on the bottom of the Music entry window.
